Animal crafts for kids are a great reason to work with children and animals.
Take any child to the park or the zoo and you'll see their eyes light up. Whether it's the diminutive ducklings or the largest lions - children of all ages just love 'em ... so I've created some great animal crafts for kids to make.

All you'll need to make these easy and simple animal themed crafts are a few items you've probably got around your home already. There's plenty to inspire you and you'll have hours of creative fun.

If it's wild animals you're looking for, try my lion frieze.
They're easy to make out of card or paper but look so effective.

Or how about my foam-covered jungle animal money box.
Great for storing your holiday money.
All you need is a pot or a cardboard tube and a some foam animal shapes.

And my animal pencil pot.
This can easily be made with a cardboard tube, and wallpaper or stickers.

If butterflies, bugs and bees are your favourite, have a go at creating some unusual picture dominoes.
Using card and foam shapes these will be very popular.

Decorate with foam stickers or your favourite animal pictures.
